Town Manager Updates:
The Milo Town Manager is the Chief Administrative Officer for the Town. He or she is appointed by the Board of Selectmen and is responsible for carrying out what the Board enacts or puts into policy, as well as being the purchasing agent for the Town. The Town Manager serves many functions which include supervising the Departments Heads, attending various meetings, coordinating with various State and Federal entities for grants, and preparing the Town budget.
While the Town Manager does not run the Town, he or she can make recommendations to the Board concerning the state of the Town.
