First be aware if you are registering a vehicle for the first time, we will not give quotes over the phone.

 

1st Time Registrations

You must be in 20 minutes before closing. (No Exceptions) 

Brand New Vehicles/Dealer Sales

For a brand-new vehicle, you will need the window sticker from your new vehicle. You will need the bill of sale showing where you have paid sales tax, the blue title application and current insurance showing the new vehicle. If you will be transferring plates, the yellow registration of the vehicle in which those plates were on.  You will need to know the current mileage on the new vehicle.

Private sales

For private sales you will need bill of sale, Title if the vehicle is 1995 or newer, current insurance showing the new vehicle.  If you will be transferring plates the yellow registration of the vehicle in which those plates were on.  You will need to know the current mileage of the vehicle.

Re-registration

You must come to the Town Office, bring a current insurance card, bring your current or old registration, and know your mileage.
